Commonwealth Games

Our 3 shooters look like they’ve been having a great time at the Commonwealth Games so far, but now it’s down to business. 

Ryan Taylor is up first, shooting in the Men’s 50m Prone Qualification match on Tuesday 10th at 11am (NZ time) and then hopefully in the Final at 3pm (NZ time). 

Sadly there seems to be little TV coverage of shooting events, and certainly nothing live, but you can “watch” the match live as it happens through the official Games website.  This will have scores updated as they happen during the match – click on the link below to to to the website, click the green “LIVE” button (which only shows when the match is actually happening) and then go into the Results page. 

The Women’s 50m Prone match is on Thursday 12th at 4pm (NZ time), so look out for Janet Hunt and Sally Johnston in that match.  Note that it says “Finals”  in the schedule, but this is because the match produces the final result – no separate Final for women has been held for quite some time now.
