TSNZ is pleased to announce that Steve O'Donnell from Auckland has been appointed as TSNZ's National Coaching Co-ordinator.
Steve’s main role will be to manage and co-ordinate the new proposed TSNZ Coaching Blueprint once it is accepted. This plan was presented at the March Executive Meeting, and we are now seeking feedback on it from members, Clubs and Associations.
The Coaching Blueprint acknowledges that currently coaching is largely ad-hoc, and this is an initial step into providing a more structured approach to coaching throughout NZ. The intention is to help making coaching accessible to all levels of shooter, from beginner right through to High Performance, and to provide aspiring coaches with a clear pathway to follow and achieve.
