21 schools entered for the 2019 TSNZ Inter-Secondary Schools match held on 28 September in Wellington - 14 from the North Island and 7 from the South Island.
Day 1 saw the schools compete against each other, with each of the 3 members shooting three 10-shot cards.
Congratulations to Palmerston North Boys’ High School, winners for 2019, with a score of 868.31.
All shooters were then ranked, with the top 12 from each Island going forward into the North Island and South Island Teams.
The North vs South Island shoot was a close one, with only 8 points in it. Congratulations to the North Island for the win, with 1930.67
Scores for the Island shooters then aggregate with their school team scores, and the top 12 of those become the NZ Team.
Congratulations to all those who have made the NZ Team for 2019.
Day 2 will commence with the NZ Team shooting a postal match against the British Schools team.
Following presentations and photos, all remaining shooters will then take part in the Plate match.
