The Marlborough Smallbore Rifle Association regrets to advise the death of John (Aussie) Chauval on 31 December, aged 84.
Until health conditions caused him to miss the 2019 season Aussie had been competing for over 35 years, representing the South Island and New Zealand on a number of occasions. He was a life member of the Blenheim club, having served many years as President, and was also a former President of the Marlborough Association, a former South Island selector, and a qualified judge.
His funeral service will be held at Clubs of Marlborough, Monday 6th January at 11am.
