Great news for school shooters - both the TSNZ Challenge Postal match and the TSNZ Inter-Secondary Schools Inter-Island match are now back on the calendar for 2020. There have been some changes made for this year to help with the Covid-19 issues, and this should make it easier for schools to get involved.
The due date for entries and results in the TSNZ Challenge Postal match have been pushed out to allow schools more time to shoot. Entries are now due 15th September, with results in by 30th September. Many thanks to sponsors SHOOTING STUFF who are again providing ammunition to schools who enter early – get your entries in by 15th August to qualify for this.
The Inter-Secondary Schools Inter-Island match will now be run as a one-day-only event on Sunday 27th September, but will be hosted by multiple venues around NZ - schools can elect to shoot at Cambridge, Palmerston North, Wellington, Blenheim, Rangiora, Ashburton or Dunedin. Information will be updated online during the day and we can have a ZOOM link running to help keep the excitement going, and Island and NZ Teams will still be shooting.
Both these matches are great opportunities to get your school-age shooters involved!
