Doug Gibson, a long-time member of Oaonui Club in Taranaki and a well respected TSNZ Member and co-ordinator of the NDC competition, passed away earlier today.
Doug's Funeral is to be held at the Oaonui Hall (10 minutes north of Opunake) on Tuesday 6th July at 1pm.

Peacefully at home surrounded by his girls and fur kids on 1 July 2021, after a short illness, aged 76. Loved partner of Patsy, and adored Dad of Kim, Donna and David, Paula and Clinton, Kelly and Sherridan, and Pa to Brian, Karina, Rhiana, Kaleb, Emma, Abby, Tully, Nikita, Rosie, Katie, Jordan, and Joshua, and Great-Pa to Noah. Honorary Pa to Nadine, Damian, and Hannah, Brooke, Kyle and Wade. Our thanks go to the wonderful team of nurses and doctors at Te Rangimarie Hospice for their love and support over the last few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Taranaki would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held at Oaonui Hall on Tuesday 6 July at 1.00pm. Private cremation.

Passed away peacefully on 1st July 2021. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Bernard and Pauline Gibson. Loved Uncle of Denise and Nic (NP), Daryl and Ali (NP) and Karl and Marie (UK). We will all miss you.
