We are very sad to report that Lindsay Horne died in the early hours of this morning at Dunedin Hospital of Bowel Cancer.
Throughout his illness he was remarkably stoic and very matter of fact about his situation with no hint of self pity.
Lindsay wished to be remembered to all the shooting fraternity and said he was very grateful for all the visits and phone calls.
We presented the Silver Merit Award last month and Lindsay was very surprised and pleased.
Lindsay's funeral will be held at 1.30pm next Tuesday 11 January at Campbell & Sons Funeral Home, 95 Gordon Rd Mosgiel. Vax Pass required for entry.
The parking there is limited, so it is suggested you arrive early as you may need to walk a distance.
