The day dawned bright and sunny and competition among the 16 entrants was lively, and some good scores posted.
Roy Herbison took Master Grade with a fabulous 299.19, followed by Dave Miller on 297.15
Alan Dickson won A Grade with 295.16 with Woody Woodman 2nd on 290.14
B Grade was won by Chelsea Bau with 296.13 from Wendy Bramer from Howich on 292.13
Cameron de Jong won C Grade with 289.11 from Ellis Flay.
D grade was won by Emma James-Ries on 281.04 from John Bramer from Howick.
The B,C,D Final was delayed slightly by a heavy downpour, and was won by Chelsea Bau adding a 193.10 to her score for a 489.23 from Wendy Bramer, who added 192.06 to herc score for a 484.19
The M/A Final was a close contest with Roy Herbison using his 2 point qualification advantage over Dave Miller to win the Master/A Final. Roy 299.19+197.14 = 496.33 vs Dave 297.15+199.14 = 496.29
I thank Wendy and John for coming down from Auckland to join us.
We missed our friends from Taranaki, but the weather and roading gods were determined to keep them at home.
