Rob Service

Gidday all,

With deep regret I have received a phone call advising Rob Service died on Saturday 6th June 2025.  He was in a care facility and had brain cancer.
Rob set up the Howick Smallbore Sporting Rifle Club that operated out of the Howick Rifle Range (and still does to this day).  He was a life member of the Howick Smallbore Sporting Rifle Club and past president.
Rob was also an active member of the Howick Rifle Club and a regular member of the Auckland Smallbore Rifle teams including the Teams of Ten team for a number of years.
Details of his funeral will be released shortly, to be held in Kerikeri.

Good evening all,

A memorial service for Rob is scheduled on Tuesday, the 16th, at Scott’s Funeral Services in KeriKeri at 11am.
