6 of our top shooters travelled to Adelaide this past weekend to shoot in the 2-day Super Saturday event, in an attempt to gain qualifying scores for Commonwealth Games 2018.
Bronwyn Shields shot in the Air Rifle event, Denva Wren shot in both 3P and Prone, and Janet Hunt, Martin Hunt, Grant Taylor and Ryan Taylor all shot in Prone events. There were some great scores shot, and although some were very close, no one quite made it to the CWG qualifier.
Congratulations go to Grant who won the Men’s Prone on Day 1, and Martin and Ryan who came 2nd and 5th; to Martin for his 3rd place in Day 2 of the Prone; to Denva who took out 2nd place in the 3P, and 3rd and 2nd in the 2 Prone events; to Janet who came 4th then 3rd in Prone; and Bronwyn who placed 7th then 5th in the Air Rifle.
