TSNZ has a small number of .22cal rifles and .177cal air rifles. These are available for members, Clubs and Associations to loan. The Executive are starting the program afresh in 2025 and are seeking expressions of interest. Application letters are due at the TSNZ office by 21 March 2025. A guide to applying can be found here.
At the 2024 Inter-Schools match held in Blenheim aNew Zealand team was selected and shot a match against their British counterparts. The winners of the Teams of Ten and the Andrews and Faulkner compete for the Candyman Cup. This year the Auckland team came out on top of the Christchurch team, 3915.194 to 3901.178. The North Island vs Scotland match was held on Sunday 22nd after the North Island Open. The North Island teams both had wins, the Open team 5918 to 5884 and the Junior team 1960 to 1928. Top scorers in the Open team were Ryan Taylor and Janet Hunt with 399, Ryan pipping Janet for top spot on countback and in the Juniors Pippa Taylor with 394....
