Nationals Day 5

February 25th 2019

The final day at the 2019 TSNZ Outdoor Nationals commenced with the NZ Slazenger, Wakefield and Drew teams shooting their matches.  Mention must be made of Janet Hunt's outstanding 628.9 (or 599 with 48 inners, in whole score) - a fantastic shoot, well done Janet!

The last event was the Association Teams shoot.  This is always a bit of fun, with the 3 shooters having to scope each other, and distraction by the crowd - as loud as possible - is actively encouraged.  This year saw the addition of a large black jumpy spider, thanks to the Australian team.

The Nationals concluded with a Dinner and Presentations at the Russley Golf Club Function Centre.

Many thanks to North Canterbury Association for hosting the Nationals this year, and also to all the many and varied helpers and volunteers who made the event run.

We look forward to seeing shooters again next year in Tokoroa for the 2020 TSNZ Outdoor Nationals.

Full results and photos will be added to the Outdoor Nationals page shortly, so keep an eye out for that.
