September 5th 2022

NDC FINALS 2022

A LEAGUE, Division 1 - Congratulations to Eastern Force, winners of the A League Division 1, over the Waikato Thoroughbreds 9-6.  Some excellent shooting from Stephanie McNair with her fine 99.06 and 100.8 and Glen Brownlee for his 200.12, earning their respective teams a bonus point each.  Eastern Force grabbed the composite and junior points (7) and the total team win (1), to beat the Waikato Thoroughbreds (5) with the Open.

A LEAGUE, Division 2 - Congratulations to the Marlborough Suns for putting in a fine performance this evening to take the A league Division 2 title by 10 points ahead of the Taranaki Tigers on raw score.  A mere 13 inners between the Open teams, 3 points between the Composite squads and 7 points between the Junior teams.  A fine performance all round, but there can be only one winner and we congratulate Val Wadsworth and his Marlborough Suns.

The PROMOTION / RELEGATION match was between the Marlborough Suns and the Canterbury Snipers, and was won comprehensively by Marlborough Suns 13 - 0.  THis means Marlborough Suns will move to Division 1 next year, and the Canterbury Snipers will shoot in Division 2.

B LEAGUE - Congratulations to The Titans with their win over the Auckland Jaffas.  The Titans took out the Composite and Junior sections plus gained 2 Bonus points for the 100s shot by Charlotte McKenzie and Madi Tourle, and Auckland won the Open section, making the points 8 to 5 in favour of the Titans.

Thank you all for your patience and support, and timeliness during this season.  It has been something of a trial for many teams affected by Covid and other interruptions to this season, and it has been my pleasure to process the results this season.
