The TSNZ Inter-Secondary Schools match took place today (10th September) in 6 locations -
Cambridge, Palmerston North, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch and Oamaru.
Well done to everyone, it's a huge day and it appears to have gone very well.
A special thanks to all the workers, markers, coaches and scopers, and especially the supporters of our shooters,
without you none of this would be possible.
Our NZ Team scores will be shared with the British Schools team who will shoot over their indoor season in December/January.
Down to the last match of the day now - the NZ Team vs UK Schools.
CONGRATULATIONS to those who have qualifed for the NZ team, especially if this is your first time.
Island Teams match
Congratulations to the NORTH ISLAND for their win, with 1945.90 to the South's 1926.83.
The Plate Match has just completed, and it was a very close-run event. There's one team name still to come, but here are the scores:
ISLAND TEAMS - the top 12 shooters from each Island go forward to the Island teams - congratulations to you all! And incredible to see the top 2 North Island shooters having identical scores, squad after squad.
The other shooters will take part in the Plate match next, with teams being drawn from the ranked scores. The Island Match will follow this.
Final round of Schools Match - congratulations to Cambridge High School, they've managed to pull back ahead of Ashburton College by 4 points.
Island teams will be added soon.
Round 2 - some more 100's popping up now, and a change around in first place for the top school - Ashburton has moved ahead of Cambridge by 2 points.
Round 1 scores have also been updated, apologies for the few glitches there.
