TSNZ President and Deputy-President

November 22nd 2023

The TSNZ AGM held on 28th October 2023 concluded with the position of TSNZ President remaining vacant, with no nominations having been received for a Postal Ballot and no nominations received from the floor at the AGM.

This left the Executive with the responsibility of filling the vacancy by appointment.

At the Executive Meeting held on 21 November, Deputy-President Shirley Herridge (Mid Canterbury) was appointed as TSNZ President, and Shirley is thanked for her willingness to take on this role.

As Shirley was previously Deputy-President, at the same meeting Executive Member Chris Clearwater (Central Otago) was appointed as the new Deputy-President.  Thanks go to Chris for being available to move up into this position.

These two moves now leave a vacancy for an Ordinary Executive Member, and the Executive expect to also fill this role by appointment in due course.

The new Executive Member will join the team consisting of Shaun Clark (Hutt Valley), Allison Archer (Waikato) and Kirsten Birrell (Hawkes Bay), all of whom were confirmed as Executive Members at the 2023 AGM.
