Eley Match Rifle ammunition

Eley UK have recently advised that some batches of ELEY Match Rifle ammunition (with the new black label) have left their factory mis-labelled as Pistol ammunition. 

It appears that some of this has arrived here in NZ, and may have gone out in the latest TSNZ Indent orders.

However the 2 types can easily be distinguished as Rifle ammunition has a flat nose, and Pistol ammunition has a round nose– see diagrams.

So don’t worry if you notice a “Pistol” label on your new Eley Match boxes - if the ammunition inside is flat-nosed, this is definitely for rifles and can be used as normal.
