Despite being light on numbers the enthusiasm was anything but. Some great results and nail biter finals were seen over the weekend at this year’s Air Rifle Nationals.
Saturday was the badge match. Top scores for the day were Owen 614.1, Sarah 588.2, and Mike 643.4. We had the WSPS Final that was taken out by Mike with a score of 255.3.
(Remembering that WSPS are still shooting finals under the old ISSF format). There isn’t usually a final for the ISSF shooters on Saturday, but we took the opportunity to have a
practice final.
Men’s final – the points score of 16/2 was taken out by Owen, with Adrian in 2nd place. Women’s final – the points score of 16/12 was taken out by Steph, with Sarah in 2nd place.
Sunday, we had the Air Rifle Nationals matches. Top Scores for the day were Owen 614.1, Issy 589.1, and Mike 638.8. Junior top scores were Dom 573.6 and Steph 586.4

The points score on this final was 17/15 – the lead switching a number of times towards the end.
